Radio 1, Sundara Karma & a temperamental Mac.
It's been a busy few weeks for us so sorry we haven't had the time to post in a little while!
The most exciting news, is that Huw Stephens played 'Dunes' on his BBC Radio 1 show. Yes it's just the one spin - but it's a really big achievement for us and fingers crossed it won't be the last time we here our music on the station. This is a good time to do a shout out to BBC Introducing for being so supportive of new British music - if you're a musician and you haven't uploaded your tracks yet, get and bloody do it.
We also had a great time supporting Sundara Karma and Inheaven at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth. Both bands were super friendly and the bassist from Inheaven had an all in one velvet flared catsuit - it was awesome and I wish I was half as cool.
Our new track 'Churches' will be with you in a week or two - which we're very excited about. We had a slight moment of panic when the Mac died on us and we thought we'd lost the whole thing! Turns out it was just a loose cable so we're still on schedule to get that out. Very glad I won't have to sing the chorus another 50 times to get it right. Thank goodness for that.
Thanks to Nikki for these lovely shots - check out more of her work here:
